Waziv Assurance Policy

Version v1.0 · Effective 2026-10-04

1. Purpose

This Waziv Assurance Policy describes Seller Assurance, Waziv's seller-accountability framework. Seller Assurance is non-monetary: it never involves a hold, authorization, stored payment method or charge on a Seller's card or other payment method. This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service and the Seller Agreement by reference.

2. What Seller Assurance Means

2.1 Verified Sellers

Every Seller verifies their identity through Stripe Connect. A listing can be activated only by its Seller, only while the Seller's account is not suspended, and only once the Seller's Stripe Connect account has completed onboarding and is enabled for payouts.

2.2 Proceeds Held Until Payout Release

Buyer payments are held by Waziv. A Seller's proceeds are paid out only at the scheduled payout release after the event, and only while no dispute is open on the Order.

2.3 Confirmed Seller Breach

A seller breach is confirmed only by a Waziv administrator after a Buyer Claim. A Buyer Claim is never resolved by default, and no refund or payout is made until an administrator decides. When a breach is confirmed:

  • the Buyer receives a full refund of the Order amount (ticket value plus Marketplace Fee) to the Buyer's original payment method;
  • the Seller receives no payout for that Order; and
  • the Seller's account is automatically suspended.

2.4 Seller Assurance Claims

If a Buyer disputes an Order payment with their card issuer or bank, the Seller's liability is capped and is handled as described in Section 10 of the Seller Agreement.

3. What Seller Assurance Does Not Do

  • No hold, pre-authorization or authorization is placed on a Seller's card or payment method, at Listing Activation or at any other time.
  • No Seller payment method is collected or stored for Seller Assurance.
  • No amount is charged to or captured from a Seller as a penalty, and no penalty amount is paid to the Buyer or retained by Waziv.

4. Relationship to Other Documents

This Policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service and the Seller Agreement. Refunds, disputes and payouts are governed by the Terms, the Seller Agreement and the Refund & Dispute Policy.

5. Modification

Modification of this Policy follows the modification process in the Terms of Service. Any change that would introduce a monetary obligation for Sellers would apply only to listings activated after the modification's effective date.
